Ritzy Pampering for Mom| No. 8

Screen Shot 2015-04-27 at 4.53.53 PMIf Mom can make it downtown, you can handle the rest! Here’s how. The Ritz-Carlton Spa, Los Angeles has launched a few special options to pamper Mom in May – my favorite being a sweet day package called The Sugar Mama.

This is heaven for the woman who’s running around all day, from carpool to career. Indulge her from head to toe with over two hours of sweet spa sanctity. The decadent package includes The Ritz-Carlton signature Hot Chocolate Stone massage and Cream & Sugar Manicure/Pedicure. They even throw in a Cream & Sugar Scrub to-go so she can keep her skin glowing at home. You can not however take home the gorgeous hand blown glass chandeliers in the nail salon. I know, I asked.

Have her get there an hour early to experience the steam room and quiet sanctuary. Prosecco anyone?

The steam room is an experience in itself – complete with gorgeous tile lounge chairs, benches, and (my favorite!) a cold rinse shower that feels like a scene out of Flashdance when you pull the chord.

Whether you join Mom or send her solo for the day, there’s no chance of her not finding bliss at this full-service haven in downtown LA.

You know lately I’ve noticed women who choose toe nail polish that I happen to like or be wearing……..likewise are people I admire! Not really scientific…….but it to me it’s fascinating!

Interesting! I often find polish says a lot about your personality as well. Same with shoes. 🙂

That spa is awesome. With all the great new eats popping up downtown, it’s a great place to break up all the snacking.
